The short answer
Aer Lingus directs third-party booking changes and cancellations to the original agent. Have the seller’s receipt and airline reference ready. A different independent agency may not have authority to service that ticket.

Identify the seller
Look at the original confirmation, receipt and payment description together. The airline named on the flight is not necessarily the business that took your booking. Keep the original seller’s reference as well as the airline reference.
Ask for one clearly defined action
State whether you want a quote, a correction, a cancellation or a refund-status update. Say which passengers and flights are affected. If the airline sent a schedule-change notice, include that information in the request to your seller.
Separate the charges
Ask the agent to explain its own service fee separately from any airline charge or fare difference. Get the proposed result in writing before authorizing a paid change. If an action is unavailable, ask whether the restriction comes from the fare or from servicing authority.
Avoid conflicting instructions
Keep a record of who is working on the ticket. If another provider is involved, clarify who is responsible before paying again. Two different conversations do not automatically create two independent ways to change the same ticket.
Common questions
Can any agency refund my ticket?
No. Ask which party issued it and who can process a refund request.
Can I still use airline self-service?
Some functions may be available. Check the official site, but contact the seller for actions it must perform.
Should I give another agency my airline password?
No. An independent inquiry does not require your airline-account password.
